Inventorio Fixes
A dirty collection of patches for the mod Inventorio targeting mod support
About this Mod
Inventorio… fixes?
Made specifically for the Hardrock TerraFirmaCraft 3 modpack!
This project exists as a separate mod due to the 1.18.2 version of Inventorio no longer receiving updates, and as such Inventorio no longer accepting pull requests. I also don't really trust myself to write reliable code yet, so making my own mod is lower stakes >.<
Please support Lizard of Oz, the original creator of Inventorio, and RubixDev, the current maintainer! You can find the modrinth page for the mod here.
List of patches:
Inventorio:
- Fix an edge case where the incorrect main hand may be targeted when creating or deleting an item when a tool is active (this should hopefully fix a good chunk of dupe exploits)
- Fix incorrect mining speed being used when a tool is selected in the hotbar while another tool from a tool slot is active
- Fix Inventorio slots not syncing on the client correctly when changing dimensions
- Make items within the active tool popup dynamically update the item being used, instead of keeping a static cache! This, for example, makes it so that when the tool loses durability, the displayed item will also reflect that.
- Make the temporary tool slot popup a little more responsive
- Add extra convenience keybinds for explicitly opening a vanilla inventory, explicitly opening an Inventorio inventory, and changing the currently open inventory without having to reach your mouse to the switch in the top-right corner
The rest are "optional" and are only loaded when the matching mod is present:
TerraFirmaCraft:
- Fix Inventorio slots not respecting item stack sizes in some cases
- Make Inventorio slots count for overburdening effects
- Make the Stack Food keybind work in the Inventorio inventory
Create Stuff 'N Additions:
- Fix dropping an item applying a blank NBT tag to your offhand item, preventing it from stacking with other items of the same type (this is technically not caused by Inventorio but I still really needed to fix this :p)
Tinkers' Construct:
- Make the Soulbound modifier work for items that are in an Inventorio slot
Hardcore Revival:
- Make the "Press E to die" prompt work with the Inventorio inventory and not just the vanilla one
Usage in modpacks
Go ahead! :D
Though, as this mod depends on Inventorio, please give a careful read to Inventorio's terms first: https://github.com/RubixDev/Inventorio#use-in-modpacks-and-with-other-mods

Inventorio Fixes server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.18.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Inventorio Fixes compatible with forge?
Inventorio Fixes officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.18.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Inventorio Fixes – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Inventorio Fixes consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
