About this Mod
Inventory Plus
Vanilla-faithful, friction-free inventory quality-of-life. Every feature is player-controlled, matches the vanilla look, and stays out of your way. Client-side — install it and join any server, vanilla or modded.
Features
- Auto-Restock — when your held stack runs out, or a tool or armor piece breaks, automatically refill it from your inventory. Optional "restock before it breaks" swaps in a fresh piece before the current one shatters.
- Auto Tool Switch — hit a block and the right tool swaps into your hand automatically. Optionally switch to a weapon when you attack a mob (with a preferred-weapon setting), then return to whatever you were holding. Hold sneak to suppress.
- Sort — tidy any container or your inventory with a button or a keybind.
- Move Matching — move every matching item between your inventory and a container in one click.
- Locked Slots — lock slots so sorting and quick-move leave them untouched.
- Column Cycler — turn a vertical column of inventory slots into a cycle you rotate through a hotbar slot, with a slick mini-hotbar HUD — more reach without cluttering your screen.
Pockets & equipment slots?
Server-persistent pockets above your hotbar and extra equipment slots live in Inventory Plus Plus, the server-cooperative companion mod.

Inventory Plus server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Inventory Plus compatible with fabric?
Inventory Plus officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Inventory Plus – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Inventory Plus consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
