Inventory Shuffle
Every once in a while your inventory is shuffled!
About this Mod
Inventory Shuffle
Inventory Shuffle periodically randomizes player inventories on the server. At fixed intervals, all item slots are shuffled - including main inventory, hotbar, armor, off-hand, ender chest, and the contents of shulker boxes. The mod is designed as a straightforward gameplay modifier that increases difficulty without changing core mechanics. Yes, you can still beat the game!
Features
- Timed Shuffle Events: Every 2-5 minutes, all online players have their inventories shuffled.
- Global Countdown Warning: A boss bar appears 5 seconds before each shuffle, displaying a numeric countdown and progress indicator.
- Complete Inventory Coverage: Shuffles all 41 player inventory slots (main inventory, hotbar, armor, off-hand).
- Ender Chest Included: Each player's ender chest inventory is also shuffled.
- Shulker Box Support: Shuffles the contents of shulker boxes, including shulker boxes in ender chest.
- Vanilla-Compatible: Works seamlessly with vanilla Minecraft and most other mods (which do not change the inventory mechanics).
- Server-Side: Only the server (or the player hosting the world) needs the mod installed for multiplayer.
Why Play?
This mod introduces periodic disruption to inventory management without altering core gameplay systems. Resource organization becomes a strategic challenge, especially during combat, exploration, or automation-heavy setups. It is suitable for challenge runs, multiplayer servers, and content creation scenarios where controlled unpredictability is desired.
