About this Mod
JoinLeaveMessages is a lightweight and user—friendly plugin that allows you to set up personalized messages when players log in and out on the server. You can use it to add more atmosphere, welcome new players, or simply decorate the chat with beautiful colored notifications.

✔ Custom greetings and goodbyes – set your own unique messages for players to enter and exit.
✔ Color code support – Use & to change text color.
✔ Dynamic nickname substitution – %player% is replaced with the player's name.
✔ Flexible configuration via config.yml – easily edit messages without changing the code.
The /ljmreload command is an instant reboot of the configuration without the need to restart the server.
⚙ How to Install?
1️⃣ Download JoinLeaveMessages.jar.
2️⃣ Move the file to the plugins/ folder.
3️⃣ Start the server to generate the config.yml file.
4️⃣ Edit plugins/JoinLeaveMessages/config.yml:
join_message: "&aWelcome, %player%!"
quit_message: "&c%player% has left the server."
5️⃣ Use /ljmreload in-game or in the console to apply changes.

How to Install JLM on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set bukkit Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the bukkit loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.6).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "JLM". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

JLM server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong bukkit version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.6). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if JLM consumes the most tick time.
