About this Mod

Mod for Minecraft Forge 1.16.5 that allows hostile mobs to jump over obstacles (pits, holes, chasms) like Steve (the player) to reach the player if there is no other logical path.

By default, mobs can jump no more than once every 5 seconds and cannot jump farther than 4 blocks.

The mod's settings allow you to:

  1. Add/remove mobs from the list of those that can jump.

  2. Configure jump distance and cooldown time for each mob.

  3. Adjust other behavior parameters.

How to Install JumpingMobs on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.16.5).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "JumpingMobs". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
