About this Mod
a sound will play after your kill a player
Only triggers on player-vs-player kills, not PvE
Sound only plays for you locally - other players don't hear it
Try different sounds for different moods - entity.wither.spawn sounds epic for dramatic kills

How to use
Install the mod in your client/Minecraft mods folder
Launch Minecraft with Fabric loader
Play normally - the sound will automatically play when you kill another player
To customize settings, edit the config file located at: %appdata%/.minecraft/config/killsound.json

/enabled : Set to true or false to enable/disable the mod
/soundId : The sound to play (see list below)
/volume : Sound volume from 0.0 to 1.0
/pitch : Sound pitch from 0.5 to 2.0

How to Install Kill sound on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Kill sound". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Kill sound server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
