Kindred Souls: Guardian & Ward Expansion

Addon for Kindred Souls

Despite the description previously stating it was created in MCreator, this is not the case.
All systems and mechanics were written in fully custom code. MCreator was used only as a compiler, not for logic or feature creation.

This addon introduces new Guardian and Ward classes, expanding the bond mechanics within Kindred Souls.

New Classes

Vigil

A Vigil is a being born half-angel and half something else, mysteriously tied to a Ward from birth.
Their power is centered around protection, support, and divine transformation.

Abilities

Effect Share
Share your active potion effects with another player.

Healing Radius
Continuously heal your assigned Ward while they remain within a specified radius.

Guardian Form

When activated, the Vigil transforms into their Guardian Form, unlocking additional divine abilities.

⚠️ Make sure to check your keybinds to activate Guardian Form abilities.

Guardian Form Powers

• Flight – Take to the skies with divine wings.
• Divine Wrath – Channel celestial power against enemies.

Demon Contract

A darker path forged through a binding contract.

When a Demon bonds with a Ward, their fates become intertwined.
If the Ward dies, the demon dies as well, making the bond one of both protection and sacrifice.

Traits

• Can consume Rotten Flesh as if it were Golden Carrots.
• Gains access to Demon Form.

Demon Form

When transformed, the demon gains powerful infernal abilities.

Passive Effects

• Resistance III
• Fire Resistance

• Demon Fireball – Launch destructive infernal projectiles.
