Add Steve's lava chicken from A Minecraft Movie with additional effects when consumed.

Chicken will drop Lava Chicken when being killed by lava!

🧪 Effects

Lava Chicken gives you a speed boost and regeneration 1 effect for 8 seconds.
Speed boost can be stacked with speed potion effect!

🔥 Particles Trail

You'll have fire particles trail following you while the effect is active.

⚙️ Configuration

⌛ Duration

You can do /trigger lava_chicken.config.duration set <time in ticks> to set Lava Chicken effect duration!
(1 second is 20 ticks)

Note: Number must be at least 2, and setting this to negative number will reset to default duration

📦 How to install?

Download the data pack from any available source you prefer.
Open your Minecraft world folder and navigate to the datapacks folder.
Drag and drop the downloaded .zip file into the datapacks folder.
Unzip the file. (It should look like this: <world>/datapacks/lava-chicken-X.X.X/...)
Open your world in Minecraft and run the command /reload to load the data pack. (or /minecraft:reload if you're on a server)
Done!

How to Install Lava Chicken on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Lava Chicken". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
