About the pack

Ever wanted the bundle retain it's original recipe but also that hide was easier to get ? this datapack was made specifically for that!
Adds a few features and recipes revolving around leather

Pack features:

Adds back the bundle (with it's original recipe)
Changes the crafting recipe of leather using hide
Foxes, wolves, ocelots and bats now drop hide
An rather balanced way to get leather from rotten flesh
Unpack wool into strings

Optional requirements

You can also install the optional resourcepack to change the name and texture of rabbit hide to fit better with the changes made by this datapack

How to Install Leather Tweaks on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Leather Tweaks". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Leather Tweaks server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.18.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
