This mod adds a decorative noose in which you can trap entities to decorate your fields and/or house !

Added to the game are :
- A Noose Block
- A Noose Item
- A Noose Mechanic
Nooses can be crafted with leads:
- Undead Entities will NOT be damage and can be used as decoration.
- Entities that are not undead will take Damage
- Nooses are traps at their core, and Entities have to walk in to them for them to be caught
Check out the config to change the damage values and wether or not entities receive damage or not.
Entities that are affected by the noose are stored in a json file in data/hangman/noose_entities/.
Datapacks can be created to add onto the list and allow for modded entities to be strung up too.

How to Install Left Hanging on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Left Hanging". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Left Hanging server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Left Hanging compatible with fabric and neoforge?
Left Hanging officially supports fabric, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.5. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Left Hanging – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Left Hanging consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
