Lenient Spawns

In short, all it does is check if the block below a spawn attempt is valid when a spawn attempt fails. In practice this means that mobs will be able to spawn on blocks such as bottom slabs, anvils, glass, etc, as long as the block underneath of it is a block which normally allows spawns, such as stone. This is mostly intended to combat reduced spawn rates of mobs caused by mods such as Countered Terrain Slabs.

How to Install Lenient Spawns on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Lenient Spawns". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
