About this Mod
A library mod that expands what is possible in Minecraft related to brushes and archeology.
Fabric version requires Fabric API. Fabric version should work with Quilt as well as long as you're using Fabric API or (assuming it's available) Quilted Fabric API / Quilt Standard Libraries.
Primarily to be used in combination with other mods that require this one. However, there's a few minor features that may be used without any additional mods.
Current features:
- A new attribute that determines the duration of a single sweep with a brush, allowing for slower/faster brushing.
- (NeoForge only for now) configurable base duration of a single sweep with a brush.
- (Fabric only, not needed for NeoForge) allow brushing armadillos with any modded brushes
Planned features for 1.0:
- Fabric configuration support.
- Ability to modify the amount of required sweeps using attributes, similarly to the sweep duration.
- Example code (using GitHub wiki?) explaining how to use this library, as well as how to keep compatibility with it.
Possible features:
- Ability to modify the base sweep duration/amount of sweeps required based on the block itself.
- Ability to define which brushes work on which blocks, similarly to vanilla tool tiers.
- Ability to modify which brushes work on which animals. Armadillo in vanilla only, would require support from other mods if implemented.
- Perhaps a backport to older Minecraft versions, if there's interest for it?
- Implement in-game tests?

librush server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is librush compatible with fabric and neoforge and quilt?
librush officially supports fabric, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with librush – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if librush consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
