About this Mod

This simple mod adds consumable tokens, which can be used to increase a player's max health, obtainable through looting, breaking spawners and archaeology. The mechanics of life tokens and their addition to loot tables can be configured in the life_tokens.json file located in the config directory/folder.

if addLifeTokenBitsToSpawnerLoot is set to true, spawners will drop 1-3 Life Token Bits when broken,
addLifeTokenBitsToDungeonLoot and addLifeTokenBitsToArchaeologyLoot add Bits to dungeon chest and archaeology loot tables, respectively.
The modified chest loot tables are:

abandoned mineshaft (minecart chests)
simple dungeon chests (monster spawner box)
buried treasure
end city treasure
desert pyramid chests
jungle temple chests
woodland mansion chests

How to Install Life Tokens on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Life Tokens". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Life Tokens server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
