Items
Heartthrob💓
Via 50% chance, player can gain a heartthrob every time they sleep.
Bonding Extract🥛❤️
Bonding extract can be used to bond with villager. To bond, player can shift + right-click a villager, which will mark the villager as pregnant. After time count-down, player will have a child. Recipe of bonding extract: 2x Heartthrob + Milk Bucket
Care Dynamic✨
When bonded with a villager, player becomes responsible of giving their partner care.
Carepoints💖
To gain carepoints, player can give gifts to the villager. Heartthrob, flowers and food counts as gifts.
Bonded villager gives a food item every morning to the player. The quality of food depends on how high the caarepoints are. When carepoint is high, villager gives more fulfilling food, and when less, worse food or none at all.
Interactions✉️
Player can now interact with villager through chat. (Note that this part is still beta and open to suggestions)
Supper?= Villager gives food.
Cuddles?= Villager emits heart particles/approaches player.
When player is away from home= Villager: Return home safe!
Bond behaviour🔗
When bonded, the villager will try to return to the player's house (calculated with player's spawnpoint) If player bonds with a villager that is too far away from their home, the villager will try to run back to player's house. After bound, villager will stay close to player's house.

How to Install LifeBound on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "LifeBound". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

LifeBound server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is LifeBound compatible with forge?
LifeBound officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with LifeBound – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if LifeBound consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
