Lifesteal Engine
A configurable server-side Lifesteal mod for modern Fabric versions.
Players can lose and gain hearts through PvP, use revival mechanics, and enable anti-abuse systems like anti-farm cooldowns and combat-log punishment.

Server/Client
The mod is completely server-side and you do not need to install it on the client

Combat Log System
When enabled:
- A player enters combat when damaged by another player (direct or indirect).
- Logging out while tagged can kill the player.
- Tag duration is configurable (default: 15s).
- Players receive chat messages when combat starts and ends.

Admin commands require operator-level permissions.

How to Install Lifesteal Engine on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Lifesteal Engine". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Lifesteal Engine server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
