About this Mod

Worldborders are lame, but so is never seeing anyone on your SMP. Limited Spawnpoints leaves exploration unrestricted, but gently encourages people to still build bases near each other.

This mod makes it so that players outside a configurable radius of the worldspawn (default: 1000 blocks) cannot set their spawnpoint with a bed. They may still sleep, but their spawnpoint is unchanged.

The chat message upon sleeping too far away from spawn.

How to Install Limited Spawnpoints on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Limited Spawnpoints". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
