About this Mod

About

Loot Events is a server administration tool designed to help admins easily plan and run community loot events for their players. The mod is designed to help streamline loot events.

The main feature, Item Loot, allows you to create an event where items fall from the sky in a designated cubic radial area. Admins can configure everything - from the event location and duration to what items shouldn't drop and how frequently they spawn. The whole system is command-driven, so admins can set up, prepare, and launch events entirely through chat commands without needing to mess with config files mid-game.

The mod also has a couple of anti-cheat measures to keep things fair. It tracks which items each player actually collects during the event and has some simple safeguards to prevent exploitation. There's an easy to use blacklist system that allows you to stop overpowered or game-breaking items from dropping, and various limits on stack sizes and collection amounts to keep things balanced.

There is an extensive choice of configuration items. You can adjust event timers, loot frequency, spawn radius, teleportation settings, and even run events in a different dimension. It's built to handle the logistics of community events so admins can focus on creating fun experiences rather than worrying about technical details or players finding ways to cheat the system.

Essentially, Loot Events is designed to be a turnkey solution for running engaging server-wide events that bring the community together.
