About this Mod

Loot geodes adds tiny geodes that generate underground similarly to ores. They function similarly to breakable pots found in many other mods, with one important change. Rather than dropping all of their loot when mined, they instead drop chunks. These can be thrown as a projectile, and will burst into loot when hitting a block. This way, your inventory won't be completely filled during cave explorations.

By default, geodes contain ores and rarely enchanted books, golden apples and their respective shards. Nether geodes also contain materials such as blaze powder and obsidian.

How to Install Loot Geodes on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Loot Geodes". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Loot Geodes server crashes on startup – what to do?
