About this Mod
Galaxy's Mailboxes

Usage Instructions:

Mailboxes are used to receive mail
- Name a Paper to the Address you'd like to use
- Place a container, this could be:
- Chest
- Trapped Chest
- Barrel
- Shulker Boxes
- Hopper
- Dropper
- Dispenser
- Run
/trigger CreateMailboxwhile standing next to and looking at the container
Run /trigger RemoveMailbox while standing right next to and looking at a mailbox to remove it if it was created by you
As Administrator:
Run /function mailboxes:remove/position/int while standing right next to and looking at a mailbox to remove it
Run /function mailboxes:remove/address/int while holding a paper named the address of a mailbox to remove it

Postboxes are used to send mail
Run /function mailboxes:summon_postbox to place a postbox
Run /function mailboxes:remove_postbox to remove the closest Postbox within 3 blocks
- Interact with the Postbox to use it
- Interact again with the minecart to access the GUI
- Insert your Mail in the top slot
- Insert a Paper named with the recipient's address in the bottom slot
- Press the Send Button and your Mail will be sent in seconds!

How to Install GalaxyByne's Mailboxes on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "GalaxyByne's Mailboxes". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

GalaxyByne's Mailboxes server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is GalaxyByne's Mailboxes compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
GalaxyByne's Mailboxes officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.10, 1.21.9, 1.21.8. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with GalaxyByne's Mailboxes – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if GalaxyByne's Mailboxes consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
