About this Mod
Marketplace is a simple and vanilla friendly mod inspired by the Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace and the well known Essentials and Vault plugins. Unlike most other store-like modifications, this one requires you to collect and give the items (by right-clicking) to an unemployed villager to unlock trading these exact items. This mechanic makes it so you still need to explore Minecraft fully, as intended by the gameplay designers, while cutting off the physical grind required for those who prefer to just relax and build.
NOTE: This mod recently got revamped as a datapack and only a few items are currently supported for trading. This modification works in a manner that supports something recognized by this datapack as a module. A module is an individual tag-like compatibility datapack for supporting specific mods.

Marketplace server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.6). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Marketplace compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Marketplace officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.6, 1.21.5, 1.21.4. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Marketplace – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Marketplace consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
