About this Mod
Melancholic Beds aims to rework some game mechanics related to beds, sleeping and insomnia.
List of features
- Insomnia is disabled - phantoms will no longer bother you after three nights without a sleep (yes, there's a gamerule for that and this mod essentially adds a way to change the default value of the
spawn_phantomsgamerule) - Phantoms now spawn in swamps and mangrove swamps at night - making these biomes more unique and keeping the phantom membranes accessible
- Sheep no longer drop wool when killed (only when sheared) - making beds a little bit harder to craft and the first few nights more challenging
- Wool cannot be crafted from strings - you have to get them shears and find them sheep to craft the bed!
- Sleeping can be disabled all together (off by default) - beds will only be used to set the respawn point making the game more difficult and nostalgic
All features are toggleable through the GUI config, allowing you to customize the mod to your liking (requires Mod Menu installed to access the GUI).
