About this Mod
Have you ever started your melon farm, quickly got way more than enough melons to satisfy your dietary requirements, then tried to use them as building material, only to be disappointed when you tried to build a roof and didn't have any slabs or stairs to do it with?
If so, then this mod is for you. Melon Slabs adds melon slabs and stairs. If you want to light up you new melon house, you can make use of the new Jill O'Lantern. This of course comes in a slab variety as well, with the torch poking out of the top.
All these new features exist for the pumpkin block as well, but let's be honest, that's not why you're here.
If you are feeling really adventurous, you can even start playing around with the cactus slabs! (warning: spiky)
If all of these cool new blocks are making you hungry, feel free to eat any of the melon slabs you placed down, like a cake! You can then wear the empty rind as a hat if you want. Because it's hard on the outside and soft on the inside, it even protects you from falling anvils!
Lastly, if all this building makes you thirsty, check out the new juicer block and its REI compatible recipes .
I've heard some rumors of a kind of super melon. Its supposed to be created by grafting a melon onto a pumpkin slab. I'm sure that's all nonsense though. I mean, you'd need some kind of high voltage spark to bring it to life and I have no idea where you could get that ...
Feel free to use this mod in any modpacks!
