A simple mod that adds a new material for repairing tools and armor and also adds new repair kits that allow for infinite repairs without needing an anvil or mending book.

About this Mod
Have you ever wanted to repair your tools without needing an expensive anvil or need to go through the grinding task of obtaining an mending book? Well this is the mod for you as it adds a new repairing material, and three tier of repair kits.
To start repairing your tools and armor, you need to obtain a Glue Ball, which is made of two of Bonemeal and Slime Balls. You can either use it as a way to repair your tools and armor, or you can use it in the new repair kits. There are three tiers of repair kits. The first is the Crude Repair Kit, the second is the Repair Kit, and the third and final repair kit is the Advanced Repair Kit, which now needs Duct Tape, made from four Glue Ball and four Paper.
Materials for Repair Kits:
Crude Repair Kit: String, Glue Ball, Stick, and Leather.
Repair Kit: Crude Repair Kit, two Glue Ball, Five Iron Ingot, and a Gold Ingot.
Advanced Repair Kit: Repair Kit, Nether Star, Netherite Ingot, and two Glue Ball.
Elytra Repair Kit: One Advanced Repair Kit plus four Duct Tape, two Phantom Membrane, and two Popped Chorus Fruit.
Trident Repair Kit: One Advanced Repair Kit plus four Duct Tape. two Prismarine Shards, and two Prismarine Crystal.
Turtle Helmet Repair Kit: One Advanced Repair Kit plus four Duct Tape and Four Scute.
Mace Repair Kit: One Advanced Repair Kit plus four Duct Tape and four Breeze Rods.
For Modders: The Repair Kits will not work with modded tools as due to a tag in the mod that is only applied to vanilla tools, but if you want to add compatibility for your tools in this mod, the tag will be provided. (mending_book_not_required:repairable_tools )

How to Install Mending Book Not Required: Repair Kit on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Mending Book Not Required: Repair Kit". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
