About this Mod
Mentioned
A mod made for Minecraft allowing you to set up chat filters, notifying you when a message appears matching your filter.
Supports styling and sounds, and includes some anti spam measures.
Config
Config is available as [mod profile]/config/ktnmentioned/ktnmentioned.json if you're using CurseForge or .minecraft/config/ktnmentioned/ktnmentioned.json if you use default Minecraft install.
There's also an in game config menu accessible via the K key while in game, or via the mod list menu (Forge only for now).
If you used this mod before 1.1, your old config files should automatically convert to the new ones. But if not, the config menu should have you sorted.
Note: Config menu is missing the delay value, this is still used but for now has to be edited in the config manually. This will be in the config menu in the next update, probably 1.1.1
Credits
Inspired by the 1.9 mod Ping! by TheSatanicSanta, but remade from scratch for 1.18.2 and 1.19.2-1.20.4 using both Fabric and Forge.

How to Install Mentioned on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Mentioned". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Mentioned server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Mentioned compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
Mentioned officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.5, 1.21.3, 1.21.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Mentioned – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Mentioned consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
