Helps you avoid breaking blocks accidentally.
Works client-side and in single player.
Meticulous adds configurable minimum times to break your first and second blocks, along with a few other options.
"First/second block" means the first/second block you break while you hold down left click continuously.
Configuration
Key binds can always be configured through Minecraft's controls settings.
Supports Cloth Config and
Mod Menu for configuration, but neither is required.
Options will use their default values if Cloth Config is absent.
If Cloth Config is present, options can be configured either through
Mod Menu or by editing config/meticulous.json in your
instance folder (.minecraft/ by default for the vanilla launcher).

This mod is only for Fabric (works on Quilt, too!) and I won't be porting it to Forge. The license is MIT, however, so
anyone else is free to port it.

How to Install Meticulous on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Meticulous". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Meticulous server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Meticulous compatible with fabric and quilt?
Meticulous officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.10, 1.21.9. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Meticulous – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Meticulous consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
