About this Mod

The mighty power of mythril!

This mod adds in a new ore: Mythril! It's main purpose is to fill the awkward progression gap between iron and diamond. While it may share similar stats with iron, it's far more durable than its comptetition.

This mighty new element holds another surprise, however, in the form of Mythgold! Should you take on the added challenge of creating a mythgold template, you can bling out your mythril gear with a fresh new gold lining! Mythgold tools and armor retain their impressive durability while also benefitting from the advantages of gold! This not only gives gold a fresh new purpose, but also gives diamond a bit of competition in the late game.

Creator's note

This is my first ever attempt at a Minecraft mod, and with very little programming knowledge to back it up. This is purely a passion project of mine, and I want it to be the very best it can. I will gladly take any suggestions, criticisms, and information you can offer. I'm aware the textures can be improved on, as pixel art, as well as art in general, is a weakness of mine. I hope to be able to improve them in the future. If this mod performs well, my next objective will be porting this mod to more versions, in order of whatever is requested the most. Thank you for visiting and reading!
