About this Mod
Welcome to Mine and Slash, a mod that changes minecraft into a hack and slash looter!
If you like MMORPGs and Looter games like Diablo/POE, then this is probably a mod for you.
Mine and Slash on its own adds all the progression mechanics you ever wanted:
- Diablo-like gear progression
- Rune Words
- Unique Items
- Affixes
- Chaos Stats
- Set items
- Huge talent tree
- Many spell masteries to mix and match.
- Modifying, salvaging, crafting of loot.
- Endgame - Increasingly difficult tiers of Adventure Maps.
- Highly configurable.
If you want to play right now, I suggest Craft to Exile 2 Modpack.
Warnings:
- Requies: Forge, Player Animator Mod and Curios API.
- Use a mod for recipes like JEI.
- This mod only supports the latest version, which is currently 1.20.1!
- Not compatible with other Spell mods
- Older versions are playable, but won't receive updates

How to Install Mine and Slash on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Mine and Slash". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Mine and Slash server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Mine and Slash compatible with forge?
Mine and Slash officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Mine and Slash – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Mine and Slash consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
