Minetivity - Advanced Discord Rich Presence for Minecraft
Why Minetivity?
After searching for a Rich Presence Mod, which I could recommend the users of my Server, I only found outdated ones or ones, which do not have a Server-sided customization function, so I decided to make a new one. And now, here it is: Minetivity.
Usage
You can simply download this file to your mods dirctory. Please make sure, that you also have installed a recent version of the Fabric API, as this mod needs it to run. The mod should simply work, when you have Discord open.
Features
The mod supports several states, including the following ones:
- Menu, displayed when you are not in a world or server
- Singleplayer, when you are in a single player world
- Current server, displayed in format "Playing on play.example.com"
- Reimplementation of the LabyMod Rich Presence Protocol
API
As of right now, there is no official API. However, as we have support for the LabyMod protocol, you can send messages via the LabyMod API or the Protocol.
Available Versions
How to Install Minetivity on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Minetivity". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Minetivity server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Minetivity compatible with fabric?
Minetivity officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Minetivity – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Minetivity consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
