Tall Lands
Makes Minecraft's terrain "tall". Something like the farlands.
About this Mod
Tall Lands
NOTE: make sure you explicitly pick which version you download, especially if you downloaded one and it doesn't seem to be doing anything; 1.faraway.0 is FARAWAY tall lands.
a Mixin Subproject
compatible with basically everything, and affects all data packs and basically all mods.
(unless the other mod writes its own world generator noise sampler)
I recommend using this as part of a modpack if said modpack is boring by itself.
Part of Minecraft's world generation sampling code involves dividing a number by 128 before returning it. All I did was removed this divisor, and the results are very cool. It almost turns Minecraft into a completely different challenge.
This mod shouldn't necessarily require a beefier CPU, but I haven't tested. It seems to generate terrain at the same speed, though.

I didn't test the nether previously, but apparently it's also affected...

(yes, the nether roof has holes now.)

The End (spoiler?)
the End is very cool as well...

...but also a bit broken.

It is fully possible (in theory) to beat the game with this mod.
