About this Mod

Mob Rockets (Overworld edition)
Love fireworks? Hate hostiles? Want to combine your interests?
Two new recipes let you craft two versions of the MobRocket trigger firework, a custom firework which calls in a spectacular firework attack when used.
Any hostile mob in range will get a firework rocket shoved up under them which will hurl them skyward until they're blown apart in a colorful mob-specific explosion of stars.
Here's a brief look at both types of MobRocket, along with some quick-start tips.
PvE version
This targets hostiles in a very small area centered around the point where it's used, or where it strikes or explodes.
Crossbow-fired - The sniper's option
Featuring significantly longer flight times than regular fireworks, MobRockets transform the crossbow into a deadly weapon with a very long reach. Add your favorite zoom mod into the mix and you've got a top-tier sniper's weapon with a fantastic payoff.

Strike hostiles directly or hit any solid block nearby. Hostiles close enough to a hit will be shoved onto rockets and blasted off to their doom.
Hand-held - The close combat option
Use a MobRocket on the ground or any solid block near hostiles to send them zooming up into the sky mid-attack. If you're surrounded, use a MobRocket on the ground at your feet to instantly clear some space around you.
Just remember hand-held MobRockets can't be used directly on mobs.
Trigger the ground or any nearby solid block instead.
Display version
This targets hostiles over a large area centered around the point where it's used, or where it strikes or explodes.
Elytra flight booster - The ultimate Display option
When used as a booster during elytra flight, the Display version's effect area is large enough to target hostiles on the ground below at the same time.
This means even a single mid-air boost can transform a regular flight into a stunning pyrotechnic display fueled by exploding flying hostiles blasting off from the ground beneath you... multiple boosts can flood the surrounding skies with beautiful mob-bursting chaos.
Crossbow-fired - Remote area clearance
Strike any distant mob or solid block to target every hostile in a large area around that point, or fire into the empty sky above land to target hostiles on the ground below when the MobRocket times out and explodes.
Hand-held - Local area clearance
Use a MobRocket at your feet to call in a huge display in a wide circle around your position, and watch as neighborhood hostiles are dragged skyward and blown apart in a kaleidoscope of colorful firework stars for your amusement.

Any types of firework rockets can be used to craft MobRockets... including MobRockets themselves. That means any time you're running out, you can just craft some more using the ones you've got left. Your totem will always be returned to you, so it costs nothing to recraft MobRockets.
General notes
- Distant crossbow-fired MobRocket explosions are not always visible by default. Setting Entity Distance to 200% in Video Settings usually fixes this, but it's completely optional. Even if some MobRocket explosions are not fully rendered, everything else will still work fine.
- Hostiles killed by MobRockets do not drop items or experience, but mending-enchanted elytra will still get repaired while flying.
- Illagers are not targeted, but zombie villagers are.
- This mod does not give you immunity to firework damage. Mobs riding firework rockets are still basically explosive projectiles and can deal significant damage on impact.
- This edition only works in the Overworld. It won't function properly in other dimensions, although it shouldn't actually cause any harm.
