Mod Checker - Mod
The official companion mod for server-side mod verification. Connects to the Mod Checker plugin to report installed mods and allow server entry.
About this Mod
Mod Checker – Mod (Client)
Mod Checker – Mod (Client) is the companion mod to the Mod Checker plugin, designed to ensure secure and transparent connections between players and servers. Acting as a verification layer during login, it communicates directly with the server to provide an accurate list of installed client mods.
When joining a server that uses Mod Checker, the client mod participates in a handshake process that shares your mod environment for validation. This allows the server to confirm compatibility and enforce its configured rules before gameplay begins.
The client itself does not block or manage mods locally. Instead, it focuses on providing reliable, tamper-resistant reporting so servers can make informed decisions about who is allowed to join.
Key Benefits
Seamless Verification – Automatically shares your installed mods during connection without extra setup
Fast & Lightweight – Minimal performance impact with a simple, focused purpose
Server Compatibility – Ensures you meet server requirements before fully joining
Fair Gameplay Support – Helps servers maintain balanced environments by enforcing mod policies
Mod Checker – Client is essential for servers that require mod verification, making connections smoother, more transparent, and more secure for everyone involved.
