About this Mod

This mod is designed for use on multiplayer servers.

MopCards is a element-based Trading Card Game, similar to Card-Jitsu from Club Penguin. The cards are somewhat difficult to collect, with roughly 93 total Cards, and even 3 different rarity levels.

Currently, you can obtain Cards and Boosters from rare foes called Card Ghosts, but I'm currently trying to make a special villager that will trade them instead.

The mod also includes rules as an item in-game - in fact, all the needed items are part of the mod! The only thing you might need is a table to play it on, but I'm sure other mods can provide them.

How to Install MopCards on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "MopCards". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

MopCards server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.19.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is MopCards compatible with forge?

MopCards officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.19.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with MopCards – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if MopCards consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
