workflow

Add more colors via a configurable interface for Text Placeholder API. This API was forked out of AfkPlus as a stand-alone API, in addition to Core Lib.
This is basically an add-on mod for Text Placeholder API. See Text Placeholder API's Website for explanations on how to use Text Placeholder API.

You can edit the config/more-color-api.json, or optionally use the /morecolors command to manipulate the color tags that are available; and from within your own mod fully utilize Text Placeholder API using the TextUtils Instance without much effort. More Colors API will handle the rest for your String to Text/Component-formatting needs!
