About this Mod
More Enchanting
More Enchanting is a mod aiming to enhance the game's enchanting experience, currently focusing on enchantments.
Enchantments
Weapon Enchantments
- Desperation - Swords, Axes and Maces. When low on health, gain increased attack damage.
- Leech - Swords, Axes and Maces. Has a 50% chance (configurable) to heal the user when dealing critical hits. Starts at 0.5 heart at level 1 and gives an extra 0.5 per level, up to level 3.
- Momentum - Swords and Axes. Increases attack speed when landing consecutive hits.
- Marking - Swords, Axes and Maces. Marks the hit entity. When the original attacker shoots the same entity with an arrow, it explodes with a power proportional to the enchantment level.
- Frost Aspect - Swords. Freezes hit enemies.
Armor Enchantments
- Double Jump - Boots. Allows the user to jump in midair.
- Rooted - Leggings. Grants increased regeneration and resistance while sneaking.
- Soul Anchor - Chestplate. When below 20% health (configurable), gain highly increased resistance but slow speed.
Configuration
This mod can be configured in two ways.
- Join a world or server and run
/configure more_enchanting config. - Join a world or server, with ModMenu installed, press escape, click on
Modsand thenMore Enchanting. Note: you do not need to join a game in order to view the configuration. - (Not recommended) Open your instance's folder, go to
config/more_enchanting/config.tomland edit the configuration file manually.

How to Install More Enchanting on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "More Enchanting". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

More Enchanting server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is More Enchanting compatible with fabric?
More Enchanting officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with More Enchanting – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if More Enchanting consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
