About this Mod
A currently small mod adding 4 new biomes with their own woodsets, ants which fight each other based on their color (Currently only workers and soldiers), 5 new flowers to spice up your gardens and more to come. The mod purpose is to make the blocky world of minecraft more lively so if anyone's bored of the barren biomes of the overworld this is the mod for you!
Future Plans
For the future i plan to add:
- Nether & End biomes
- Expand on the ants, and add new ones like the queen ant - Add a new ore in-between iron and diamond for a smoother transition - Expand on existing structure & biomes (Like the jungle temple!) - And more

How to Install Muddles on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Muddles". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Muddles server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.8). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Muddles compatible with neoforge?
Muddles officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Muddles – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Muddles consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
