About this Mod

Murcs Zombie Additions

This mod adds various additions to the world, such as new Zombies, Structures, and two new biomes! This mod is intended to be very compatible with most other mods, (especially apocalypse themed mods) and unintrusive on the gameplay while still adding additional challenges and fun items to obtain.

Additions

Spoiler

New Zombies

Stronger Zombie

A stronger, faster, and generally better version of the vanilla zombie in terms of stats, as well as having additional drops.

Gruesome Zombie

An incredibly strong zombie that can climb walls and does even more damage than the stronger zombie.

Nether Zombie

For any apocalypse modpack that doesnt ban the dimensions, the End and Nether now have their own zombie varients. The nether zombies spawn somewhat frequently, and are slightly stronger than normal zombies. But, around a second after taking damage, they shoot out a fireball.

End Zombie

This neutral zombie varient is very easy to get overwhelmed by when inside of the End dimension. They spawn frequently, and teleport to a random location around them when damaged.

Condemned Infected

These zombies are slow, but tanky floating enemies in the end. They dont take knockback and deal quite a lot of damage. keep these zombies in mind while in the End and dont forget about them!

New Biomes

The Barrenlands

The Barrenlands is a large, rubble covered wasteland that spawns exclusively zombies. (See Gallery)

The Ruins

The Ruins is a somewhat rare biome made of mostly stone based blocks. The entire biome is covered with hostile grey structures and ruined buildings. (See Gallery)

New Items

Inhospitable Soil

A new dirt type used in the generation of the Barrenlands.

Ender Flesh

Dropped by End Zombies and Condemned infected, and can be used in a brewing stand to create Potions of Random Teleporting.

Empty Syringe

Used as a material for different types of injections.

Zombie Heart

Occasionally dropped by Stronger Zombies and Gruesome Zombies, the zombie heart can be used in a brewing stand with empty syringes to create the Zombie Blood Injection.

Nether Flesh

Dropped by Nether Zombies.

Dusted Flesh

Crafted with Nether Flesh and Blaze Powder

Potion of Random Teleporting

A potion that randomly teleports you while active, and is crafted with ender flesh

Potion of Fireball

A potion that allows you to shoot fireballs, and is crafted with Dusted Flesh

Leather Strip

Created when Rotten Flesh is smelted in a furnace. put 5 in a crafting table to get one piece of leather.

Glistening Chunk

Used to create Health Injections in the brewing stand.

Hyperactive Pile

Used to create Adrenaline Injections in the brewing stand.

Dangerous Mass

Used to create Pure Stimulant in the brewing stand.

Bandage

Crafted with two paper and one wool, Bandages give you regeneration for a small amount of time.

Health Injection

When used, gives instant health alongside some regeneration and resistance.

Adrenaline Injection

Gives multiple positive effects, but when the injection wears off you are inflicted with slowness and weakness for a while.

Pure Stimulant

Gives dramatic positive effects, alongside random bouts of darkness and nausea. when the effects end, you are inflicted with strong negative effects for a time.

Zombie Blood Injection

The Zombie Blood injection inflicts the "Infected" effect. This cannot be cured with milk and only goes away once you die. your base attack damage, attack knockback, resistance, speed, and swim speed are increased as well as water breathing and random regeneration. the negatives though, include always having hunger, random moments of weakness, and random moments of slowness. You can never starve or go below 2 hunger bars, but the hunger makes you eat a lot just to be able to run. Also rotten flesh is a somewhat viable food because of this!

Comments

This mod was originally just used as a way for me to add more depth to my apocalypse server, so I had a few mods in mind to go well with it.

most of the structures and enemies were made with Timeless and Classics Zero in mind, but they could work just as well with any other gun mod.

I would also heavily recommend adding mods that give additional mobility such as ParCool due to the speed and aggression of some of the zombies.

Also the mispelling of Apocalypse is there to be charming trust me on this

Enjoy!
