About this Mod
Mycoscape
A vanilla+ modfocused entirely on environmental worldgen, a fungal forest biome, a new cave biome, and a full decorative block palette built around mushrooms and rotwood.
Features
Fungal Forest biome: a rare Overworld biome with a dark color palette, fungal ambience, and soul sand valley atmosphere.
Necrotic Caverns: an eerie cave biome rich in resources with ambient mycelial veins.
Rotwood wood set: a wood set in a corrupted dark wood style found in the Fungal Forest.
Mushroom blocks: four species with grow stages (Blewit, Morel, Jack O'Lantern, Necroshroom) and giant mushroom cap blocks for each species.
Custom Mushrooms: Found in the Fungal Forest or the Necrotic Caverns. Necroshrooms are grown by placing other mushrooms on rotwood.
Terrain blocks: Overgrown Grass, Mycoslate, Necroshroom Hyphae, Jack O'Lantern Vein.
Mushroom food items: Blewit, Morel, Jack O'Lantern Mushroom, and Necroshroom are all edible with custom status effects
Bonus Features:
- Overgrown Grass: a cheap, six-sided grass for builders.
- Death Vine: a special and extra deadly cobweb variant.
- Mycelium Fabric: an efficient and easy way to farm wool.

How to Install Mycoscape on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Mycoscape". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Mycoscape server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Mycoscape compatible with neoforge?

Server lagging with Mycoscape – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Mycoscape consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
