About this Mod
PlayTimeRewards is a lightweight NeoForge server-side mod that tracks player playtime and automatically rewards them at hourly milestones.

Features
- Playtime tracking: Tracks player playtime on the server in ticks, converted to hours.
- Hour announcements: Broadcasts a configurable message when a player reaches an hour milestone.
- Hourly rewards: Runs a configurable command every hour for each player.
- Specific-hour rewards: Extra commands for specific hour marks (e.g. 1 hour, 5 hours, 16 hours).
- Config-based: All behaviour controlled via
playtimerewards.json. - Config reload: Reload the config without restarting the server.
Installation
- Install NeoForge for your Minecraft version.
- Download the
PlayTimeRewardsmod JAR. - Place the JAR into your server’s
mods/folder. - Start the server once to generate the config:
config/playtimerewards.json
- Edit the config to your liking.
- Either restart the server or use the reload command:
/playtimerewards reload

How to Install Playtime Rewards on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Playtime Rewards". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Playtime Rewards server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Playtime Rewards compatible with neoforge?

Server lagging with Playtime Rewards – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Playtime Rewards consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
