About this Mod
Nerospace
Mine alien ore, power up your machines, build rockets — then terraform a dead world until it rains.
Nerospace is a complete, standalone space-progression mod. One ore in the overworld starts a chain that ends with you breeding alien livestock on a moon you personally made breathable: machines, an all-in-one pipe network, four rocket tiers, four destinations, player-founded space stations, oxygen survival with hazard suits, and a staged terraforming endgame — all guided in-game by the Star Guide.
The journey
- Nerosium. A new overworld ore. Smelt it, or double your yield with the powered Nerosium Grinder.
- Power & pipes. Build generators and the Universal Pipe — energy, fluids, gas, and items in one translucent tube, with per-face modes, filters, and visible travelling items.
- First launch. Craft a Tier 1 rocket, lay a 3×3 launch pad, and fly to the Orbital Station.
- New worlds. Tiered rockets take you further: green Greenxertz, volcanic Cindara, frozen Glacira — each with its own ores, creatures, and hazards.
- Survive. Every world out there is airless. Seal rooms, pipe oxygen from electrolysis generators, refill your Oxygen Suit at airlocks — and bring the Thermal or Cryo Suit where heat or cold quadruples your O₂ drain.
- Found stations. Rename a Station Charter in an anvil and found your own named orbital station, anchored by its Station Core and selectable as a rocket destination.
- Go heavy. Build the 5×5 Heavy Launch Complex with its boarding gantry, refine your own rocket fuel from coal and blaze powder, and launch the Tier 4 heavy rocket.
- Terraform. The endgame: an expanding terraformer matures dead ground through Rooted → Hydrated → Living stages — a glacite-fed water cycle, real weather, vibrant mature biomes, and three breedable livestock species that move in when the land can hold them.
The quirks you'll remember
- 🐾 Eight bespoke creatures — glowing stalkers and crawlers native to each world, plus the Meadow Loper, Ember Strutter, and Woolly Drift, which only live on land you terraformed.
- ⭐ The Star Guide — a pedestal + guidebook that opens a live, interactive progression tree (7 chapters, 31 steps, synced to a full advancement tree), with a hologram showing your next goal.
- 🛰️ Stations are yours — found up to 64 named stations per world; the rocket UI lists them all.
- 🔧 One pipe to rule them all — no four parallel cable networks; the Universal Pipe carries everything at once.
- 🌧️ It actually rains on a fully matured planet.

Nerospace server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Nerospace compatible with neoforge?
Nerospace officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 26.1.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Nerospace – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Nerospace consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
