Have you ever wanted to use the NES Zapper in Minecraft?

No? That's okay, that means you're normal.

But now you can! With the NES Zapper addon for Gamingbarn's Guns.
The recipes for the NES Zapper and the Double A Batteries it needs can be found in the vanilla recipe book present in the crafting table.

The NES Zapper is a fairly powerful gun, able to one-shot chickens (and other weak things too, but that's not as important). The range isn't great, but it's an 80s era toy, what did you expect.

Because this is an addon for Gamingbarn's Guns, this means that you need Gamingbarn's Guns for the datapack to work properly.

How to Install NES Zapper on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "NES Zapper". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
