About this Mod

This mod adds new features to the underground including blocks, mobs and biomes to make caving more interesting and add more resources for underground survival, such as sources of wood and farmable mobs.
Its features are intended to be fairly vanilla+ whilst having unique functions. This mod requires terrablender as a dependancy, and JEI is reccomended as the mod has built in descriptions for the functions of certain features.

-Explore the petrified root systems, the remains of ancient trees filled with thorny vines. Uncover the last few vestiges of life by de-pretrifying the roots, or mine them for iron ore, but be careful of cave spiders!

-Mine dense coal ore, exposing explosive dust which can be harvested and used to clear space.

-Venture into the sulphurous slime caverns, where at first only lies pools of bouncy slime and geysers that rocket you into the ceiling. Be careful, once you start mining the sulphur things might get more explosive if any of that dust hits a source of flame.

-Find ancient fungi growing from bedrock, jutting into nearby caves. Use it to age items or craft bedrock mycelium, which can root thrown items into the ground as their block form.

-Find rogerfish in cave aquifers, desiring to shred the bones of skeletons to create more of their kin from the shattered meal. Just don't forget that you have bones, too!

-Raise a colony of whelps, the underground's new rat-like passive mob which burns in bright light and drops its flammable fur and saturating meat.

-Craft new tools such as lapis stamps which can target multiple blocks to break in a single stroke, gnomes which can follow you and carry items, troughs that can consume and spread bonemeal and punchers which will push blocks with much greater force than a piston.

-Build with new decorative blocks for lapis, calcite and the mod's sulphur material.
