About this Mod
Originally created for friends, but upload just in case anyone else have the same ideas with how the weapons' stats and recipes should be.
This datapack aims to do 4 things:
- Complimenting Create's sequence assembly system by enable and encourage the use of automation for ammunition crafting
- Remove most recipe from the cgm workbench to avoid cluttering.
- Attempt to make sense of Scorched Bronze's available assets for resource crafting flow without adding too much resources that exist merely as crafting steps.
- Refitted some firearm's ammunition type and action to closely follow their visual design.
Actual Dependencies:
Create
Haywire Robots, Bandits and Guns- A Scorched Bronze Addon (Not on Modrinth)
SCORCHED GUNSDoes NOT include assets used for this datapack, thus incompatible.
SCORCHED GUNS 2is the newest version of the original CGM addon, without the create compatiblity, play it without this addon, as this is only for Scorched Bronze Addon.
(I might make a Scorched Gun 2 and Create compatibility pack one day)
Weapon stats are largly untouched after brass tier, and balance is out of the window.
Weapon progression still follows Scorched Gun's, and ammo crafting followed suit:
[Primative -> Copper -> Iron/Steel -> Brass/Tin Bronze -> Scorched Bronze -> Ethereal]
so that should give you an idea.
Since ore generation can also mess with other mods, most recipes that calls for Tin, Bronze and Cinder are simplified to use Brass and Blaze Powder.
(Which Scorch Guns does the same anyways)
Some Brass/Tin Bronze Tier and All Scorched Bronze and Ethereal weapons are crafted with Create's mechanical crafter.
Cyclone is not balanced, as cgm missle explosive damage is based on minecraft explosives, and it is not possible to adjust the damage of the blast with only datapack,
only direct hit damage is adjustable.
Flechette Jet was supposed to be redesigned to be a 4 shot autocannon like weapon but remained for the same reason, unadjustable blast damage.
