📖 Description

Nice Mob Variants introduces a variety of new mob variants, enhancing the game’s diversity and making encounters feel more vibrant. The data pack also adds two new blocks: the Livestock Breeder and the Frog Feeder.

Cat Variants

All Black with Green Eyes

Spawns under the same conditions as the vanilla all black variant.

Creeper

Spawns in Plains Villages.

Embroidery

Spawns in Archaeoligcal Site structures in Desert Biomes.

Simba

Spawns in Badland & Savanna Biomes.

Skeleton

Spawns in Graveyard structures found in Dark Forest Biomes. Has also a chance to spawn instead of a vanilla Skeleton Horse Trap. Cannot be bred.

Soul

Spawns in Monolith structures found in Soul Sand Valleys.

Tiger

Spawns in Badland & Savanna Biomes.

Chicken Variants

Cluckshroom

Spawns in Fallen Mushroom structures generated in Mushroom Fields.

Creamy

Spawns in the same biomes as the vanilla temperate variant.

Dark Brown

Spawns in Forest Biomes.

Duck

Spawns in Swamp Biomes. Chickens renamed to "Benny" also become the Duck variant.

Ender

Spawns in End Farm structures generated in the End. Takes damage when in rain/water. Teleports when taking damage.

Spawns in Old Growth Spruce/Pine Taiga & Dark Forests.

Spawns in warm Biomes like Savanna.

Potato

Spawns in Potato Farm Structures.

Rooster

Spawns in Sunflower Plains & Flower Forests. Lays no eggs. Crows in the morning.

Skeleton

Spawns in Graveyard structures found in Dark Forest Biomes. Has also a chance to spawn instead of a vanilla Skeleton Horse Trap. Cannot be bred. Lays no eggs.

Strider

Can only be found as a vehicle for Chicken Jockeys in the Nether.

Zombie

Can only be found as vehicle for Chicken Jockeys outside the Nether.

Cold Yellow

Spawns in the same biomes as Vanilla Cold variant.

Cold Dark

Spawns in the same Biomes as the Cold variant.

Cold White

Spawns in the same Biomes as the Cold variant.

Creamy

Spawns in the same Biomes as the Temperate variant.

Dark

Spawns in the same Biomes as the Temperate variant.

Ender

Spawns in End Farm structures generated in the End. Takes damage when in rain/water. Teleports when taking damage.

Gray

Spawns in the same Biomes as the Temperate variant.

Pink Moobloom

Spawns in Sunflower Plains & Flower Forests.

Potato

Spawns in Potato Farm Structures.

Has a chance to spawn leashed to a Wandering Trader.

Spawns in the same Biomes as the vanilla Warm variant.

Warm Gray

Spawns in the same Biomes as the vanilla Warm variant.

Yellow Moobloom

Spawns in Sunflower Plains & Flower Forests.

Frog Variants

Dry

Breedable in Desert Biomes. Drops Sand when eating.

Ender

Spawns in End Farm structures generated in the End and can be bred in the End. Takes damage when in rain/water. Teleports when taking damage. Drops Crying Obsidian when eating.

Frozen

Can be bred in Ice Spike Biomes. Drops Ice when eating.

Golden

Breedable in Badland Biomes. Drops commonly Raw Gold or rarely Emeralds when eating.

Guardian

Breedable in Monuments. Drops Sea Lanterns when eating.

Muddy

Spawns & is breedable in Mangrove Swamps. Drops Mud when eating.

Nether

Spawns in Nether Well structures generated in Warped/Crimson Forests. Breedable in the Nether. Drops Shroomlights when eating

Sculk

Breedable in Deep Dark Biomes. Drops Sculk when eating.

Pig Variants

Creamy

Spawns in the same biomes as temperate variant.

Dark

Spawns in Forest biomes.

Spawns in End Farm structures generated in the End. Takes damage when in rain/water. Teleports when taking damage.

Guardian

Spawns in the same biomes as Ocean Monuments generate.

Husk

Spawns in the same biomes as warm ocean ruins generate. Doesn't burn in sunlight.

Swamp

Spawns in Swamp & Mangrove Swamp Biomes.

🛠️ Technical Gibberish

This data pack double functions as the required resource pack. So simply slap that one also into your Resource folder and make sure to enable it in game for the textures to show properly.
