Water Weight (Item Buoyancy)
This datapack makes items have an assigned weight value, which affects how buoyant it is in water.
About this Mod
Water Weight
(Item Buoyancy)
Minecraft items clearly should have different weights, right? Well, I gave them some. Now items are affected by this weight while in water. Heavier items sink, and lighter items float.
So, now items float differently simply based on weight - cool, right? Enjoy!
Several Minecraft versions
It works for Minecraft versions 1.21.x (and likely further). Be aware that in most versions, a warning may appear that it is for the wrong version, but gor some older versions, it may work.
