About this Mod

Overview

Ninja's Cash is a mod that adds a physical currency to the game. It allows servers to use mods such as the Vending mod whilst still allowing players to buy stuff using the server's economy rather than normal items.

Ninja's Cash uses pictures of genuine British pound coins and notes, as well as British penny coins. The currency is based on GBP (British Pound Sterling).

You're welcome to use this mod in your modpack - all I ask in return is that you give me credit and reasonably check for updates to use the latest version of this mod for your MC version so that I don't get bug reports for things that are already fixed in newer versions of this mod.

How to Install Ninja's Cash on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Ninja's Cash". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Ninja's Cash server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Ninja's Cash compatible with fabric and forge?

Ninja's Cash officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Ninja's Cash – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Ninja's Cash consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
