About this Mod
No Block Loot
Do you think Minecraft Loot is OP? Too many diamond ore veins? Too much chest loot? Well, fear no more! This data pack removes both of those things. Your only way to acquire any loot is through entities, whether it be trading, bartering, mob loot, etc. Crafting also works, although good luck finding a crafting table...
This is meant to just be a challenge data pack testing the limits of what you can achieve with so little access to resources. Surprisingly you can actually make a lot of progression with this. One of the most notable issues is wood, but there is a way to get planks, but I'll leave that for you to figure out. Yes you can beat the Ender Dragon, but it will not be a walk in the park.
FAQ
- "Does this work with X mod / data pack?"
- It does not work with custom chest loot tables added/modified by them, but it does work in general.
- Why do Minecart Chests still have loot? Why do item frames / armor stands still drop??
- Well, they aren't technically blocks are they? They are entities!
