NoConnect
Definitely for user that willing to break their online experiences. Therefore, issues that occur when using this should be reported here.
Prevent connections to remote* (mostly) but not limited to, such as update, joining server, etc.
*Except localhost resources and default allowed hosts.

Note
This is a modlauncher ITransformationService "plugin". It will not show in mod menu.
As in Java 24, this "plugin" will not work. The infrastructure behind it is permanently removed, see https://openjdk.org/jeps/486.
The author will attempt to find an suitable alternative to supplement it in the future.
This "plugin" requires java.lang.SecurityManager, which is terminally deprecated (JEP-411) in Java 17+.
In Java 18, -Djava.security.manager=allow is required in command line, see https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8275671

You can change this in ./config/noconnect.toml Requires restart to take effect.

How to Install No Connect on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "No Connect". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

No Connect server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is No Connect compatible with forge and neoforge?
No Connect officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with No Connect – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if No Connect consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
