About this Mod

NoArmor allows you to hide your armor while keeping its protection, perfect for stealth, roleplay, or just showing off your skin! With the Phantom enchantment, your armor vanishes when you need it to.

✨ Features

  • Phantom Enchantment: A unique enchantment with two powerful levels:
    • Level I: Your armor becomes invisible ONLY when you have the Invisibility status effect. Perfect for true stealth without the "floating armor" giveaway.
    • Level II: Your armor is ALWAYS invisible. Maximum protection, zero visual clutter.
  • Configurable:
    • Want global rules? Toggle hideArmorWhenInvisibleGlobal in the config to make ALL armor invisible when the wearer has the Invisibility effect, even without the enchantment!
  • Server Friendly: Works great for multiplayer, allowing players to choose their visibility style.

📖 How to Use

  1. Enchantment Table / Anvil: Obtain the Phantom enchantment book or find it in loot.
  2. Apply: Enchant your armor pieces.
  3. Vanish:
    • With Phantom I, drink an Invisibility Potion.
    • With Phantom II, just put it on!

⚙️ Configuration

The config file can be found at config/noarmor.json:

{
  "enablePhantomEnchantment": true,
  "hideArmorWhenInvisibleGlobal": false
}

Frequently Asked Questions

NoArmor server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is NoArmor compatible with fabric?

NoArmor officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with NoArmor – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if NoArmor consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
