About this Mod

NoChatClear is a small client-side Minecraft mod using Fabric.
With version 1.20.2 Mojang decided to clear the chat, when the client is entering the configuration-phase.
This happens for example when switching to a world with an other datapack, even if it is on the same proxy-server.

Usage:
Just put in in your mods-folder and it will prevent your chat from being cleared in the configuration-phase.

How to Install NoChatClear on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "NoChatClear". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
