NoOpenToLAN

Minecraft 1.7 has bugs on LAN world, especially in heavily modded packs. This mod will ban player from Open To LAN and hint them to use dedicated server.

This mod can do:

always fail when Open To LAN
add a message to hint players to use dedicated server
add hint on the Open To LAN screen
always disable the Open To LAN button
remove the Open To LAN button

all these behaviors and hint messages in this mod can be configured.

This mod won't block you to connect to any server.

How to Install NoOpenToLAN on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.7.10).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "NoOpenToLAN". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
